Felix joined Capstone’s Finance team in 2022 as Controller and he brings with him a depth of work experience. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Victoria and achieved both the CGA and CPA designations.

Felix was the Business Manager at a senior care home for a couple of years overseeing the Finance and Human Resources departments. After this he spent over five years with a commercial laundry business that is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

At that company, Felix was the first dual financial Controller for two of the company’s Vancouver plants, with each plant employing 300-400 unionized and non-unionized staff. He oversaw a team of eight employees and was responsible for the plant’s Finance, Human Resources, and Office departments. Felix employs these areas of expertise at Capstone, keeping the firm’s daily financial health intact, keeping the human resources processes running smoothly, and providing support to Capstone’s President and Chief Financial Officer.

From time to time, Felix mentors university students and recent graduates as they transition from their studies to the working world. Felix learned how to snowboard about one year ago and when he is not hitting the slopes, he is spending time with his three nieces and two nephews.
